Comments from the Spring Roadshow 2023 on "Flexible Mindsets"

  • I think it will help the boys I teach notice and explore their own thinking and so become more self-reliant, resilient and help them feel more in control, have more "I can" moments - I am excited about that.

  • It was amazing, honestly. I felt that my "cup" was filled and I feel ready to tackle my teaching with a flexible mindset.

  • It has awakened in me new ideas on how to create self awareness among children. Teaching them to make conscious decisions. The need to PAUSE and reflect and should we want different results we cannot continue doing the same thing

In response to the question 'What did you like/find most worthwhile about the Roadshow?':

  • It needs to be a learning zone not a performance zone. How do I put in the correct strategies (the flexible thinking tools) to make this happen.

  • The whole thing was awesome. I loved the content and the interaction. Incredible speaker who is so knowledgeable

  • Listening to a speaker of such caliber who kept us captive throughout the workshop with her style of presentation. Collaborating with colleagues from other schools, sharing ideas and experiences

  • The nugget of the how: give students time to use the TOOLS & STRATEGIES so they can PROVE to themselves they are capable. Connecting with other teachers and hearing from them about good practice in their classes

General comments:

  • Thank you for a very stimulating and inspiring day.

  • Susannah is a lovely dynamic speaker whose energy meant the day was fun and informative

  • I found this workshop to be a very self developing one- it helped me to identify where need to improve as a teacher in order to better assist my students. Thank you for that!!!!
